Another JBW!

Seems the only time I have to stitch lately has been going to simple projects. Between the house and work I seem to have no time. I've done a little work on Mirabilia, and TW designs, but its been suffereing. Anyway, this is alphabet wreath b JBW Designs!! Hopefully I will have some progress pics soon.

Another JBW Design

I seriously dig JBW Designs, so cute with lots of internal desigs, and they go quick. I have been working my ass off lately so they are the only stitching pleasure I have!!

Water Break

A finish! This is Water Break by Callico Crossroads done on 14 ct. white aida with DMC threads. I love these designs, they're cute and go really fast. I'm now putting all my focus on finishing Castle, and Antique english teapots. I've been coming up blank when it comes to blogging, so I am off to stitch!

WIP update

I have two WIP updates, Castle, and Antique english teapots. I love how Caslte is turning out. I also picked up more stash, even though I said I wouldn't, but I couldn't resist. I got Water break from Callico Cross roads, Country french apple-JBW designs, Peacock Tapestry-TW, and Sapphire-Lesa Steele Designs. So that is it, I am comitting myself to no new stash for at least 6 months.(Yeah right!, but I am going to try very hard!)

SBQ and stash

What company produces your favorite hand dyed fabric? Which company if any don't you like?
Well I have yet to come across a had dyed fabric that i don't like. My favorite is from the Crossed wing collection. I promised myself I wasn't going to buy any stash for awhile but both Hobby Lobby and Stitching bits and bobs were having sales, so I could not resist. I wanted to post pics but blogger is behaving badly. From Hobby lobby I found Castles by the sea-TW, and a 36 dollar half yard of Wichelt 28 ct on sale for 7 dollars! Froom stitching bits and bobs I picked up, Sleeping beauty-Mirabilia, Baroque-Calico crossroads, Mythical moments-Stoney creek, and Alphabet wreath-JBW designs, all in all not a bad day! I didn't make my (a little hopeful) end of the week finish on guard this keep, however I am very close with just a little border and some backstitching to go.

Native Wolf Totem

Much to my daughters happiness, I have finished Native wolf, the first cross stitch she has ever bought me. Now I am unsure as to what to do with it, I don't have any southwestern or native american art in my house, thinking about maybe putting it in my husbands office. I started a new project since I finished this one Muscat sewing accsesories from the December issue of JCS. It is a scissor case, fob, and needle book. It is my first, so it should be fun. Right now I am stitching full steam on Guard this keep, hopefully I am shooting for an end of the week finish.

First finish of 2007 and SBQ

First off, a finish, this is Country french pear by JBW designs from the november/december 2006 issue of JCS magazine. I did it on 14 count antique white aida with DMC#781. I think I have found a new love for JBW designs, it was fun to stitch and I love all the little motifs within the design, so I will absolutely be picking up some more of these charts! On other stitching I kinda threwout my rotation for a couple days because I am really enjoying stitching Native wolf, which makes my daughter happy.
SBQ- Do you dream of running your own LNS/ONS. If not tell us about your cross stitch dream?
Well, I have always dreamed of designing. Right now I am working on a line of little kits, that I hope to one day incorporate into our existing chainmaille business. I have a couple of dragon designs, and tarot card designs that I am going to kit up and take with us to our next sci-fi fantasy convention. So we will see how it goes!
